Chief Executive Officer

James Ngotho

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Jengo Investment Ltd., bringing over 14 years of experience in infrastructure development and large scale construction management.

As the head of the company, Mr. Ngotho provides strategic leadership, oversees the successful execution of major construction projects, and ensures that all operations adhere to the highest standards of quality, safety, and environmental compliance. His hands on leadership approach enables him to effectively bridge executive decision-making with on site project execution, ensuring excellence in delivery and client satisfaction.

Prior to his appointment as Managing Director and CEO, Mr. Ngotho spent more than a decade managing complex construction projects. Throughout his career, he has led multidisciplinary teams including NCA registered engineers, project managers, and technical specialists in the successful delivery of significant infrastructure developments, including highway networks, port facilities, bridges, and industrial construction projects.

Under his leadership, Jengo Investment Ltd. has strengthened its regional presence and successfully delivered more than 15 major infrastructure projects for both government institutions and private sector clients. His vision continues to drive the company's growth, innovation, and commitment to delivering high quality, sustainable infrastructure solutions.

Mr. Ngotho brings a strong background in accounting and financial management to the construction industry. He is also a strong advocate for innovation, championing the adoption of sustainable building practices, modern construction technologies, and Building Information Modeling (BIM) to improve project efficiency and long term value.

Hon Carolyn Mwende Mutia

Member of Parliament | Managing Director, Larac Jay Limited

Hon. Carolyn Mwende Mutia is a Kenyan Member of Parliament and a business leader with a strong track record in trade, logistics, and agriculture. She is the Managing Director of Larac Jay Limited, a Kenyan company specializing in Logistics, Agro commodities, Export & Import, and Haulage.

As MD of Larac Jay Limited, Hon. Mutia leads operations that connect Kenyan farmers and producers to regional and international markets. The company provides end-to-end solutions across the supply chain from sourcing and aggregation of agrocommodities, to export/import facilitation, to haulage and distribution. Under her leadership, Larac Jay has built a reputation for reliability, efficiency, and supporting value addition in Kenya’s agricultural sector.

In her role as a Member of Parliament, Hon. Mutia champions policies that advance trade, food security, SME growth, and women’s economic empowerment. She brings practical, private-sector experience to public service, with a focus on creating jobs, improving market access for farmers, and strengthening Kenya’s position in global trade. Guided by values of integrity, service, and impact. She is committed to building institutions and systems that deliver opportunities for communities while positioning Kenyan businesses to compete globally.

Francisca Kagendo Ngewa

Mrs Francisca Kagendo is a Non-Executive Director of Jengo Investment Ltd with over 20 years of experience in corporate governance, infrastructure finance, construction law, and real estate investment. She provides independent oversight that strengthens board decision making, ensures alignment of corporate strategy with robust governance standards, and supports regulatory compliance and sustainable long term growth.

She plays a key role in strategic oversight, corporate governance, and enterprise risk management, bringing deep expertise in joint ventures, procurement frameworks, and the delivery of large scale infrastructure and real estate developments. Her contributions help enhance project viability, financial discipline, and value creation across the company’s portfolio.

Ms Kagendo has held senior leadership roles across both public and private sectors and is a member of the Architectural Association of Kenya. Her industry expertise and professional networks have supported the formation of strategic partnerships and improved organizational competitiveness. She holds an Architecture degree from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and Regent University, London, and is a Fellow of the Architectural Association of Kenya, recognized for ethical leadership and commitment to sustainable value creation.

Mamman Yvonne

Finance Specialist.

Results driven consultant and finance executive with 15+ years experience driving business growth, strategic planning, and project delivery across Africa. She specializes in financial management, fund mobilization, treasury, risk management, and multi-cultural project leadership.

Currently consulting as Senior Director Programme with The Institute for Governance and Leadership Studies in Africa, and supporting clients like The Progressive Institute (official think tank of the APC rule party in Nigeria)and Jade & Jayden Services on high impact projects including NSCDC infrastructure funding, Navy Hotels and an active United Nations Volunteer.

She excel at turning complex challenges into clear strategies, building partnerships, and delivering value driven solutions. She serves on the Audit and Risk, and Remuneration Governance Committees, where she drives accountability, strengthens transparency, and reinforces stakeholder confidence through effective oversight and governance practices.

Chairman, MD & CEO, Illumeva Assurance Canada

Mayomi Yinka is the Chairman, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Illumeva Assurance. He is an executive leader with over 20 years of experience in corporate governance, institutional operations, and strategic growth across the UK, Nigeria, and Canada.

A Director at Jengo, Mr. Mayomi brings expertise in building compliant, scalable organizations and strengthening board level governance. He supports the company’s strategic direction, risk oversight, and partnership development to drive sustainable growth.

As founder and CEO of Illumeva Assurance, he leads a specialized firm providing background verification, security vetting, and due diligence services for immigration authorities, diplomatic missions, and institutional partners across Africa and internationally. Under his leadership, Illumeva operates in Nigeria, Kenya, Rwanda, and South Africa, delivering audit ready reports grounded in Integrity, Confidentiality, Diligence, and Respect for the Individual.

Mr. Mayomi’s cross jurisdictional experience spans leadership and supervisory roles in highly regulated environments, giving him a strong foundation in process design, stakeholder management, and operational excellence.

He holds an MA in International Security from the University of Leicester, UK and a BSc in Business Administration and Management from the University of Ado Ekiti, Nigeria.
